This song is about finding the right place to put your love. May it be with a person, with a cause, with a passion, or within yourself. I found the symbol of Ouroboros significant because it is through the journey and discovery of loving all of these things that we hopefully come back to the self, and through loving the self will be rejuvenated in our love of all things. And I haven't always experienced "no rough edges" when letting my heart lead me, but even when being cracked open by the painful places love can lead, we might open a deeper truth that can be learned from.
